September Tour of Remodeled Homes
Jo KoenigAlong with back to school, football, and spectacular trees, fall in Salem has always been marked by the Remodelers Home Tour. However, tradition was threatened this year when the Oregon Remodelers Association cancelled their sponsorship of the event. Upon learning of the cancellation, C&R Remodeling decided to make sure the tradition would continue. Doug Lethin, owner of C&R Remodeling and past President of the ORA said, “The Remodelers Tour has always provided a great opportunity for homeowners to see how homes in the area are being improved. People have told us how much they appreciate getting ideas and inspiration for their own projects. We wanted to make sure they could continue to do that.”
So C&R Remodeling will be presenting a tour of their recently remodeled homes on Saturday, September 18th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Featured homes include a room addition with gourmet kitchen and new deck, a studio connected to the house via a breezeway, a wheelchair accessible kitchen, a whole-house remodel and many more completed projects.
Tickets this year will be at a reduced price of $5.00 per person for the entire tour and can be purchased at the door of any Tour Home during Tour hours.
Also new this year will be a drawing for $500 worth of free cabinets from DeWils Cabinetry. Attendees may fill out an entry form at each house they visit. The drawing will be held at the C&R Kitchen & Bathroom Seminar on September 25th.
