C&R Remodeling Garners National Design Award

We are pleased to announce that C&R Remodeling was recently honored with a Silver Medal in the 37th annual Master Design Awards. The award was given for our recent Cabana project which also garnered the Designer of the Year Award for C&R Interior Designer Katya W. Grisaffi.

This cabana is the focal point of an entire back yard re-imagined. The existing yard had been a large expanse of green lawn that offered little in the way of interest or recreational possibilities. Designer Katya Grisaffi created an inspired concept for a backyard oasis. C&R Remodeling then faithfully executed the design to perfection.

Material selections for this cabana were key in creating the inviting, relaxed atmosphere. The homeowner is thrilled with the final outcome of the project.

Judging Criteria

The judges for the Master Design Award considered the following: Design. Material use. Creativity. Functionality. Details.  Not only were the judges critical of the project itself, but they also took into consideration the presentation quality and photography. All photos by Terry Poe Photography.
