Speaker Elizabeth Tice will provide information to assist in researching family genealogy using free internet sites and other resources for research, what type of forms to use to request information and guidelines to create a pedigree chart.
Elizabeth is a retired teacher that has been researching her own family history for 20 years by visiting other areas of the country and Canada, courthouses, cemeteries, and libraries. She is the president of the Willamette Valley Genealogical Society and editor of the Society’s monthly newsletter. In addition, she is a genealogy volunteer at the Oregon State Library and teaches a genealogy class at the SeniorCenter. Elizabeth enjoys assisting others in discovering their heritage.
