When Dick and Joi Hayden decided to remodel their bathroom, they wanted to create a space with a barrier free shower instead of the tub/shower combo that had been there since they purchased the home. Creating a curb-less shower floor allowed them the ability to age in place and not worry about having the physical ability to step in and out of the deep tub in order to use the shower on a regular basis. They wanted the main floor tile to extend through the shower with no visual transition. Joi had a fantastic dresser cabinet that she wanted to incorporate as the vanity. We customized the cabinet to accommodate the sink and faucet. The countertop was custom fabricated to work with the cabinetry and reflect the character of the piece. Warm tones were used in the tile along with an accent at chair rail height. Warmer metal finishes embraced the selections and added to the character and charm. Read more about their project:

When our clients decided to remodel their bathroom, they were looking to update a space that had last been renovated in the 1990s. One of the key challenges was a six-foot wall dividing the bedroom and bathroom, which made both rooms feel like shared space. To enhance privacy and functionality, the homeowners wanted the toilet area to be separated from the main bathroom. Their goals included adding two separate vanities for convenience and creating a spacious walk-in shower. To accomplish this, we modified the window dimensions to create additional wall space, relocated plumbing fixtures, and installed full-height walls and doors for improved separation. Elegant marble tile was selected to brighten the space and add a timeless, luxurious feel. Between the vanity area and shower, we incorporated partial walls and strategically placed recessed niches and valves for easy access and a clean, functional design.
