Farmhouse Bathroom Remodel in Independence, Oregon
This Full Reconstruction project breathed new life into two bathrooms within an 1880s farmhouse while meticulously balancing period character with modern utility. To improve daily function, we stripped both spaces to the studs. We removed an inefficient tub, pedestal sink, and dated wall paneling to allow for a complete layout reconfiguration.
The main-floor guest bathroom features a custom quartersawn oak vanity topped with Venus quartz and an elegant ogee edge. Upstairs, the new centerpiece is a spacious walk-in tile shower featuring a frameless glass enclosure. By replacing aging infrastructure with high-efficiency plumbing and electrical systems, we achieved a high-impact update that honors the home’s historic soul.
