Attend the Tour of Remodeled Homes and Support a Great Cause
Jo KoenigThe 2012 Tour of Remodeled Homes presented by C&R Remodeling is a benefit for the Medical Foundation of Marion & Polk Counties. All ticket proceeds will be donated to MedAssist & Project Access, Foundation healthcare programs for the uninsured.
The MedAssist staff connects patients and their respective physicians and healthcare providers to pharmaceutical-sponsored programs that offer free and discounted medications to those who qualify. MedAssist staff compare individual prescription drug needs of clients to the drugs available through these programs. MedAssist staff then manages the complex paperwork required to apply for and keep clients enrolled in matched programs for as long as possible. MedAssist provides these services free of charge regardless of the number of prescription medications required or the length of time the medications are needed.
Project Access coordinates with volunteer physician and healthcare provider networks, area hospitals, and surgery centers to provide donated healthcare services to patients who have an immediate need for medical treatment or management. Patients are referred to Project Access by volunteer physicians and healthcare providers from the area’s free medical clinics or Project Access participating provider practices.
