The Open House will give you the opportunity to visit one of the coolest back yards in all of Salem. Tour the semi-attached Studio and Family Room. Experience the custom designed garden and landscaping. Enjoy ice cream treats and beverages along with all your C&R friends.

Linda & Jack Stewart wanted to completely upgrade their back yard to include fountains, ponds, decks, and patio areas. Also on their wish list was a room addition. The extra space would give them an area for meeting clients, relaxing, working, and watching college football on a big screen. As a professional interior designer, Linda knew exactly how she wanted the space to look and function but didn’t know if the project could fit their budget. C&R Remodeling helped her with some subtle modifications that kept the spirit of the design while providing substantial savings. The result is a beautiful structure that transformed their back yard into an indoor/outdoor paradise.

This impressive addition exudes warmth and ambience. An organic color palette includes a stacked stone fireplace that intentionally relates to the beautiful natural surroundings. Sunlight streams in through multiple skylights and double French doors allow the room to become one with the outdoors.

A creatively conceived breezeway joins the addition and main house. This provides a separate entry while maintaining a comfortable connection between the two.
